NaviNet as a free multiple insurance portal for Psychologist & Psychiatrist

NaviNet is designed to be a centralized portal for insurance information.  The utilization of the site is enhanced by the contribution of the partnered insurance carriers.  With the Partnered insurance companies you are allowed to view Patient Insurance Benefits and real-time claim status.

Access to the portal will allow you to access current and past E.O.B’s (Explanation of Benefits.)  However, if you are using an EHR/ EMR software you should be receiving the electronic version, called an ERA or 835. Each system is unique as some require your psychologist or psychiatrists to manually update the data or it is automatically populates into the patient’s records.

Aetna is a Partner of Navinet and they are integrated through the Navinet.  Through this integration you may upload forms for registration changes to your Provider Profile.  Items to update are the following; Name, address, suite, NPI, and EIN.
