Open Enrollment is here for Georgia State health plan participants. After a year of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia exclusively servicing all employees, retirees and teachers, they will have a second option of United Healthcare/ United Behavioral Health.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia for 2014 has offered a HRA account with a deductible will be offering a HMO for 2015 with a co-payment
United Behavioral Health for 2015, requires an authorization for services annually. United Behavioral Health also, requires a SPECIAL authorization for CPT code 90837 (53+ minutes.) For UBH authorization may be obtained through their website, only on the website can you to backdate by three (3) days.
